Tropographie Grand Tour october 15th - november 16th 2018 (c) Nicolas Delaroche 2018 Nicolas Delaroche explores the relationship between objects and their context. Through photography, sculpture, drawing, and installation, he reveals spaces as zones of exchanges, where the elements - objects, or works of art, human beings, architecture, and materials - communicate with each other. Tropographies are manipulated photographs that have been captured in museums. This process is based on two constraints: the artist cannot introduce any other materials than those available in the image and the amount of time spend working on the same Tropographie cannot exceed an hour. For zqm he will realize a grand tour at the Museum Insel in Berlin to produce new Tropographies which will be produced in situ during his 10 days residency. With the support of Canton de Vaud |
